Tidal disruption event known as Swift J1644+57 is a peculiar one - it is unussualy bright and variable in X-rays. New obesrvations with XMM-Newton and Swift telescopes now detail its behavior. Also Scientists were able to put limits in mass of the black hole to 0.6-7.9 millions of solar masses.

German telescope eRosita on board german-russian observatory Spektr-RG detected its first tidal disruption events (TDEs). They occur when star gets too close to a black hole, and gets destroyed by its intense gravity. The material from the star then goes to an accretion disc which generates intense radiation, that was detected by eRosite telescope.
