New super-earth discovered on the edge of habitable zone of nearby red dwarf

Astronomers report discovery of a new exoplanet orbiting star Ross 508. This small red dwarf is 37 light years away, which is nearby in galactic terms. The exoplanet Ross 508 b is a super-earth 4 times more massive than our planet. It orbits its star once in 11 days, which puts it close to its habitable zone.
