An exoplanet twice the size of the Earth was discovered orbiting a star 150 light years away

Astronomers found the planet in space telescope TESS data and confirmed its existence with the SPIRou infrared spectropolarimeter on the Canada France Hawaii Telescope. The exoplanet belongs to a sub-Neptune category and is about 2 times bigger than Earth.
