
Nearby star 2MASS 0355+1133 can be found in northern celestial hemisphere, however it is too dim to be seen with the naked eye or even a small telescope. 2MASS 0355+1133 is about 10 % of the size of Sun and temperature in its outer envelope is around 1527 K (1254 °C), which is about 26 % of Suns temperature.
Brown dwarfs are not really stars, because there is no thermonuclear fusion in their core. These objects are smaller and cooler than stars, but too massive to be considered planets.
