
Nearby star G 236-2 can be found in northern celestial hemisphere, however it is too dim to be seen with the naked eye or even a small telescope. G 236-2 is about 30 % of the size of Sun and temperature in its outer envelope is around 3423 K (3150 °C), which is about 59 % of Suns temperature.
Red dwarfs are small reddish stars, that are by far the most common type of star in solar neighborhood. Their mass is usually between 10 and 50 % of solar mass.
